La Entrevista
a Marta Hierro y Núria Abad
In 2014, after long individual journeys, Marta Hierro and Núria Abad brought their professional paths together. Their shared desire to tell stories in depth had already led them into the world of documentary filmmaking, where they specialized in social, cultural, environmental, scientific, and health-related themes. From this encounter emerged the production company MOM Works, through which they have developed a wide range of audiovisual projects: feature-length documentaries such as Dorothea and the Myotragus, María and the Forgotten Film, Memories of Puerto Rico, Torrelló Before the Camera, The Mayor, and The Final Journey, as well as documentary series like Munar and The King and the television program Balears fa ciència.
Their creative curiosity has also carried them into animation, with Dorothea on the Rocks marking their first foray into the genre. Today, they are preparing the children’s section of IB3 Television, the official broadcaster of the Balearic Islands in Spain.
